This Moseley Pro 96-3-2 Saga should be read by everyone. Except for no loss
of life It ranks up there with the cost cutting and business practices of
Alaska Airlines and Firestones cover up practices that came back to bite
them. I've read the sickening details of both. Legislation is being
proposed for criminal penalties for the CEO's who's companies willfully cover
up defects. Perhaps its time has come. The Tire Industry (and others) were
allowed to regulate themselves. Those who have been jerked through product
problems not being resolved--know the feeling and have similar stories. I
got into the Quality Assurance Business as an Engineer as a result of the
many problems I had with a lot of the stuff I purchased. I recently had
similar problems with 2 major camera manufacturers. They want me to eat
their defects. Battling the brick walls of correction can be very lonesome
and they often rely on it. I have a tight wad friend who's practices I
recommend to avoid these problems totally--don't buy anything. I did a
calculation and his retirement kitty is significantly larger than mine and
his garage has very few pieces of junk in them. He laughs a lot about that.
1 out of 5 products you will buy will have a problem. Are you prepared to
handle it? That's why I keep recommending "No Maintenance Products" like
Prop Pitch Motors and Telephone Poles. Inquires have increased lately.
