Not specifically list related, but of interest to all...

On Sept. 7, 2000, W4ETO and W0UN announced that the current run of Alpha
87A
and Alpha 99 amps will be the last.  After this, Alpha Power will cease
engineering and manufacturing operations.  Warranty and post-warranty
work
will still be available, but no new amps will be produced.

Betcha makes those feel good that like to get the absolute lowest price
(below cost), 50 year warranty, and something for nothing!  Boy... is
the amateur faternity full of these types!
