[TowerTalk] Verticals of Telescoping Aluminum

To join aluminum of the same dimension, I have cut a 2 foot section of the 
same material, sliced it lengthwise with a table saw  to leave a small gap, 
inserted in to both sections, butt the sections to be joined, then add a 
dozen rivets on both sides.

This method has worked well here for mending broken booms and 4 square 
elements.
