[TowerTalk] Concrete base close to house foundation

Hi all,

I plan to erect a Delhi DMXHD-48 self-supporting tower next to my house. I
wonder if the concrete base can be
"too close" to the house foundations. What is considered normal practice?
Is there a minimum comfort distance to 
be kept or can it be poured directly against the foundations?

I live in Montreal, Canada, where the usual "below frost line" depth is
generally considered to be 48". I'm worried about
the effect frost would have by exerting a force between the foundations and
the concrete base.
