[TowerTalk] motorizing my winch

Hi Bill,

One idea I have heard about is using a reversable large drill motor.  You could
fabricate a coupling such that you hand-hold the drill motor and push it on the
shaft when you want to raise or lower your tower.  Of course you would have to
be present when it is in use and you would remove the motor and bring it indoors
each time.  It would be cheap, however, and very easy to adapt to your winch
shaft.  Wiring is simple, too.  Use an extension cord.
