[TowerTalk] Best salty ground?

I wonder if there are any practical experiences pointing to the best ground 
for HF for use with vertically polarized arrays.
The question is what is better, situating the antennas on the beach next to 
the ocean, or is the salt marsh better. Would waves have negative impact on 
the reflective properties of the salt water? Would salt marsh have perhaps 
more salt concentration and be better?
