Here is a great product for cleaning aluminum.  3M Marine Aluminum Restorer and
Polish.  3M # 051131-09020.  I'm putting a used beam up and applied this product
with paper towel and the beam looks like new.  I could feel the db's rising as I
was rubbing.

The stuff is real easy to use and no really hard work.  Apply dabs to an element
section directly from the container.  Wipe with a paper towel and then wipe
again with a clean paper towel.
