[TowerTalk] near field on 6M?Some answers

I found some answers, and created a new mystery. I really did not think
that the nearfield from a Yagi was that directional at a depressed angle of
about 41 degrees down. It is.

The interference was from the computer. I did the "turn off" in the wrong
order, and because of the mystery effect, I dont know if it was the CPU or
the Monitor. I turned off the computer first, (which leaves the monitor in
standby) and the noise went mostly away. It left a narrower signal, lower
in strength. That, too, left when I cut power to the monitor. (Note- not
'switched off'- power removed).

The Mystery is- after turning all components of the computer system off
(even cut ALL power to it), then coming back up- the noise is not there,
except for a very low level "hash" (white noise), that is a minimal
interference. Now- I cant delve deeper into the source of the problem,
because I cant duplicate it.

Damn all intermittents !
