Radio Works in Portsmouth, VA (the Carolina Windom people) sells 200' hanks
of 3/16" dacron in olive drab color that will last a LONG time in the sun
and is relatively inexpensive. I've used a lot of it for about 5 years and
haven't broken any of it yet, and it's holding up some pretty heavy wire (in
one case, 265' of #12 CopperWeld plus misc fittings and a bunch of hanging
coax). Haven't tried it for guys but it should work just fine. Much better
than nylon for outdoor durability. They also sell some small diameter Kevlar
line with a black dacron jacket that I like. It has also been very durable.
