I hope this was supposed to be a joke.
DO NOT PUT COAXSEAL DIRECTLY ON ANY CONNECTOR!!!! You'll never be able to
get it off and you will have acquired a totally useless connector that you
have to throw away. (Commercial grade vapor wrap is okay for direct
application.)
Just about anything you put over the connector that doesn't completely
seal it will be a problem. The problem is condensation - water vapor will
condense in lots of stuff; i.e. sealed plastic bags, sealed antenna booms,
etc.
Better to let the water evaporate in the open on its own.
Using those plastic caps might allow the water to collect in the cap and
the end of the connector would be sitting in water.
If you want to do something, use some Scotch 33 or 88 electrical tape to
seal it up all around. Two or more layers of tape is sufficient.
