Although mineral oil works, and I've even heard of people using vegetable
oil (must smell nice when it gets hot), I use Shell Diala dielectric oil.
Since nobody will sell me only a gallon and it comes in 55 gallon drums, I
get it for free from the local electric substation manager...they have drums
of it and don't seem to mind draining a gallon for me every now and then.
