[TowerTalk] Insurance question

     Your insurance carrier is in the best position to know whether you need
a separate rider or whether your antenna coverage is within your existing
policy.  Either way, get it in writing from them!!!

     I called my carrier before I set spade to earth and explained what I
wanted to do, that I already had a county permit, etc.  After I answered a
few simple questions she said I was covered by my existing policy.  I asked
her for a letter to confirm what she said and a few days later I got it in
the mail.  It's now part of my tower folder (along with the final, signed
county inspection certificate.)

     As Louie B. Meyer (of the movie studio MGM) once said, "Oral contracts
aren't  worth the paper they're written on."
