OK, one of my 'pet peeves' is the incorrect use of
there, their, and they're.
"there relates to place or position,
their is possessive, and
they're is a contraction for 'they are'.
Here is a sentence to show the differences:
They're assembling their TOWER over there.
Sorry. My English teachers were TOUGH !
Back to antennas :-)
The SADDLE of a cable clamp goes on the 'live' wire
because it won't crimp the wire. The U-bolt, which
may crimp part of the wire, goes on the 'dead' end
of the wire which has LESS tension on it.
