The local concrete company puts an additive in the concrete for cold weather
pours. In really cold weather you do need to insulate so it doesn't freeze
before it cures. You'll also want to check and see if the additive will
alter the normal cure time. Luckily I got mine in before the cold weather
set in - now if only I can get the trench dug for the conduit out to the
tower before the ground freezes!
