Ed, K4SB had an article in a magazine back in the late 70's when he was
K4DJC.  He added a mast on top of the tower with a rotating fixture so he
could get any wire antenna 25 feet above the tower rather than being limited
to just below the beams.  He had a way to calculate the height required and
angle of the wire to safely clear the biggest beam. The antenna actually
provided guying for the extension.
