Your feet/minute requirement implies a tall tower, which means
a large drum. Large drum winches are expensive. Have you considered
a capstan rope hoist? The AB Chance 1000 lb. model, a workhorse of
the commercial tower industry, runs at 40'/minute, which most crews
find acceptable for up to 500'. Approx. $1500.00.
