I have welded up H-frames out of thin wall conduit and regularly weld on 16
gauge sheet metal using a MIG welder.I use 16 gauge for the fixtures that
hold the fuselage of the airplane I'm building.  Although much larger than
the legs of a 25G they are no thicker.

Aircraft tubing is even thinner. It can be welded with MIG, TIG and gas,
with gas being the preferred method.

OTOH welding a tower leg, like aircraft tubing is something for an
experienced welder.
