I have been thinking about installing a two element Steppir yagi at the top
of the second section (~38') of my LM470 crankup. The benefit of using the
Steppir is that the yagi would only need to be rotated 180 degrees using the
reverse capability of the Steppir, thus no need for a ring rotor or clearing
the hoisting cables as
all of the cabling could come down on the "back" of the tower. However it
requires designing and fabricating an adapter to fit the LM470 and using a
side mount or swing arm. I have no experience using these and would
appreciate advice. Especially ideas on building the adapter to fit.

thanx
