[TowerTalk] Jamesburg 30 meter Dish Antenna on Ebay

Folks:
A true 'giant' in telecommunications, the Jamesburg Earth Station, COMSAT 
'A' dish is for sale on Ebay..  Sad to see that this beauty has not found a 
niche application to continue use.
It was a crucial link in providing 'live via satellite' video to the world, 
beginning in the late '60s, carrying the 'live from the moon' coverage of 
the Apollo 11 moon landing.
Could have been heck of a EME antenna.   Perhaps some hams should offer to 
install and fire up an EME station and do a final QSO to the moon.

A bunch of local hams toured the site earlier in the year...what a 
breathtaking sight...
