[TowerTalk] Pull Down Cables

First, a Million Thanks to those TT'ians who are valuable helpers in getting 
the
old tower trailer tower up again....

A question:
Some towers implement a pull down function.  Does this function require a 
second cable leaving the lift winch, in the 'opposite' sense than the lift 
cable?   Or are there other ways to implement the pull down function?
