On Telrex, back in the 60's, the 8 element 2 meter antenna was the
"standard". It was not too expensive--about $18. The competition was the 11
el CushCraft--same boom length and sligtly less gain. That antenna was about
$13. Then one day Telrex had a price increase. Antenna price doubled.
CushCraft sales improved considerably.

Anyone know anything about the Price increase and why it happened?--Mike,
