I have a SteppIR 4el on a 75ft crank-up where there was previously a C31XR
and I can tell you I have not lost anything. The C31XR played well except on
15 where the bandwidth was very narrow. Depending on your lot the SteppIR is
much less intrusive against a tree background(4el vs. 14-shiny aluminum vs.
green fiberglass). You also pick up the WARC bands and the 180º switch.
