[TowerTalk] Lightning Protection Device Question

PolyPhaser has a lot of products and a good reputation for coax devices used for surge/lightning protection.  However, they tend to be a bit pricey.  Does anyone in the Towertalk group know whether the products from companies such as Alpha-Delta, RF-Tec, and ICE  are as effective as PolyPhaser's?   Or is it best to just go with the "best"?
