I think he meant put a temporary guy on the mast so you don't bend the heck 
out of it

What is a "back guy" on a tram?  I would assume a helper.  I will be putting
up a 4 element SteppIR using a 6' X 6' aluminum tram trolley suspended by 4

Always use a back guy on a tram, the forces are just too large even with
relatively small antennas to put on a mast.
