[TowerTalk] Whole house surge protectors

I've been using Intermatic EG240RC's installed after the main breakers. They
have LED's to indicate if they are working (one for each leg). The two units
were installed in 1993 and, along with the plug in protectors I use on
everything, have prevented any surge damage- including when lightning
literally blew my telephone line off the utility pole shared with the power
line. (The 1/8 amp fuses in line with the phone lines blew, saving my
electronic phones.)

Home Depot used to sell them, but I don't know if they still do.
