[TowerTalk] HF Vertical Opinions NEEDED...

I really don't understand the kvetching Steve gets from time-to-time when he
directs folks to a publication of unbiased, comparative data about the
subject at hand! Isn't that what good advice is?
If people are going to complain that Steve is unwilling to give away for
free the data he and N0AX spent hours and countless calories worth of
erecting, disassembling, re-erecting and disassembling antennas, then I
guess fairness and market economy aren't completely understood. Why should
he give to me for free something KB0FHP had to pay for? Peter, when you go
to work, do you not expect your employer to pay you?
Why should Steve pointing to his comparison be any different than the others
who have pointed to ARRL publications, such as the Antenna Book, or the ARRL
Handbook? And by the way, Steve, THANKS for maintaining this resource in
spite of these scurrilous complaints.
Question: did Karl Marx give away Das Kapital? I think even he sold it. no?
