[TowerTalk] Need Advice on Long Wire Antenna Materials

I used a 3,5 mm (0,138 inch) aluminum wire. Very light , not too much sag.
Trees were about 80/100 feet high, I was using an automatic antenna tuner 
(Icom AH2)
Worked easily many rare DX particularly on 40 and 80 100w of power
