You can do a lot of contesting if you can put up a short tower. A 40  
or 50 foot tower can support a tribander w/ a 40m dipole option, and  
can be shunt-fed for 80 and 160m with a matching network.

I have a 15m tower with a Cushcraft A3S/A743, and shunt feed the  
whole mess for 80 and 160m. I have enough room to put down some 60  
foot radials, so my lot is a bit larger than yours.

It's a compromise installation, to be sure, but it's reasonably  
effective.
