[TowerTalk] radial connections

I assume that there is a ground rod at the Hytower connected to the end of
its radial system and its coax shield. If not I would put one in. The
current induced into the old ground radials by your inv V will pass thru the
short earth path between the 2 ground rods with a small power loss.
Preferably you will be able to connect the 2 ground rods together with a
heavy copper wire.

The inv-L consists of a Budwig connector, attached to a DX-engineering
radial plate, which is jumpered over to a ground rod. All radials (both
old and new) are #12 THHN. The old ones on the HyTower are sunk into the
ground long ago, and the new ones on the inv-L are still on the ground
for now.
