[TowerTalk] Need Advice on Cherry Picker

I just rented a Genie AWP30S (30 foot pusharound lift) this weekend.
I hope I never have to use one again!!! It was smooth and easy to
operate, but it sure didn't feel stable when all the way up at 30
feet.

To K7LXC:

The lift worked, but it was scarey. I feel alot more comfortable
climbing my tower!!!! Next time I think I will Tram the antenna down
or swivel it down next to the tower or something. The 40m yagi seems
to be working reliably again, but only time will tell. All I did was
replace the PL-259 as expected.

JLG is also a good one to look for, but the Genies are what I would prefer. They have an eighty footer, if it's available to you, that uses outriggers as mentioned previously and very simple to operate and very secure. Good luck on your project.
