Phil,
Totally different.  HDX-572 uses a 4:1 cable system on the main  lifting 
cable. A motorized HDX-572 has 2 cables on the drum.  One pull up  and one pull 
down.  It may have multiple cables on the upper sections,  depending on the age 
of the tower.
