Dan, if your swedging scheme does not work out you can buy tubing from Texas
Towers in 1/8 inch steps from 2 inch down. It has .052 wall so makes
excellent short bushings to use at each joint. I usually do a saw slot
length wise at each joint in the tubes and clamp down with hose clamps. They
have ads in CQ and QST showing the tubing info.  73, Dan, N5AR

Reduction in size of aluminum tube end so smaller size will fit swedging. I
want to reduce each taper by 1/8 inch 2 to 1 /7/8  1 /7/8 1 5/8 etc
