John, I just found my Force12 C3SS manual. Problem is, it is a lot more
manual than I remembered! I count some 35 total pages with pictures.
There are step-by-step assembly instructions with sketches for nearly
each step. There are some pictures of various parts of the assembly.
There is one page with somewhat subtle instructions for setting the
element lengths for various frequency ranges within each band; I have
written some notes how I set these for the phone part of the band. I
have some emails to Force12 and their replies about errors in this
manual so there are some corrections I found needed. I bought one of the
very first C3SS beams.
I also designed a plastic clamp for the balun and there is a sketch of
this bracket. There are some assembly notes I made myself as I put it
together.
I have an Excel spreadsheet with graph of the SWR results for my
assembled C3SS and there is a printed copy of the graph in the notes
with the manual.
This is too much to scan! I'd rather copy the manual at Kinko's and mail
the copy to you. This will have some cost; I could have them 19-hole
bind it as the original Force12 manual is bound. Let's say $10 for the
copy of everything I have in my file folder for this beam.
This is all a bit of work! But, there appears to be quite complete
assembly information, far more than folks are complaining about on
TowerTalk. Perhaps someone else needs a copy of this manual; I'll post
this reply on TowerTalk and wait a few days to see if there is any
response; I want to make just one trip to Kinko's!
