You need to take a look at an AM broadcast station, and the way they  
treat lightning, rf, and tower lighting power.

I suspect that a combination of a lightning spark-gap,  a lightning  
choke wrapped in the feedine,  and some RF chokes across the  
insulator, to drain off static, would  do the deed.   You'll probably  
need to plan for replacements of the static-bleed chokes.   They'll  
become sacrificial.
