Hello Guys !

I wish to build an interlaced biband yagi for 20 and 15 meters using my KT34XA parts.

The KT34XA has a good gain but poor F/B and pattern on 15 mts.

I would consider to miss 10 meters (I have other antennas for that band) and modifying the KT34XA to a 3+3 elements on 20-15.

I would consider the K7JA design that appears at the end of the cebik article at http://www.cebik.com/yagi/sy.html

Do you know of a good design using the KT34XA aluminum ? It's not so easy to find american size aluminum tubes here in Italy, so I think
I will use the existing 1" and 3/4" tubes plus 16mm and 14mm european tubes.

If somebody that has EZNEC and can use it can help me... I will thank very much.

The KT34XA boom is 3" diameter and 381" long.

I wish to use existing parts for the 20 meters elements: so the KLM/DXE elements to boom brackets, 1" diameter x 72" long tubes, .75" diam. x 24" long tubes and 16mm (abt 0.629") and 14mm (abt 0.55") european aluminum tubes.

For the 15 mts elements I wish to use the same elements to boom brackets (I purchased 6 new of them from DXEngineering) and 25mm, 20mm, 16mm, 14mm, 12mm european tubes.

THANK YOU FOR THE HELP... I hope you can help me in putting my contest station back on the air !

Regards,

Fabio, IT9GSF.
