"Way back when" we used to use liquid kitchen soap (you know the stuff in the plastic bottles that is hard on grease and easy on the hands hi).

Used to get the absolute cheapest suff around, and dump a couple of bottles in the pipe. Would pull 1--5/8 hardline through the pipes with no trouble.

unelievably messy... but hey...

it was kind funny though ... all those bubbles coming out of the conduit !
