I agree its not really a big deal is it?
My only concern is when a fat rigger (like me) is hanging off one side
of the tower it's a lot of leverage at the bottom, even if the
specification says its OK - during the install of the guys we should
probably take some extra precaution.
In the case of this short structure after making sure the ground anchors
are in place I'd take some temporary guys up about half way, then I'd
continue to inspect as I climb, finally install the permanent guys at
the top. On the way down recover the temporary guys.
I'd also hope that the person fitting the guys has a bit of experience
and isn't just some bloke-from-the-club.
Now to the original poster - enjoy your new mast and bear in mind that
ANY antenna installed up at 30 feet will have infinitely more gain than
one sat in its packing crate awaiting the install of a 200 footer!
