[TowerTalk] Tri-ex LM-47 Cables

I have a used LM-470 tower and on close inspection I can see that the
raising cable has cut into the V Braces at the bottom where the cable comes
from the pulley and also at the top where it leaves the pulley.

 

The cable goes on the inside of the first V Brace and then on the inside of
the rest of the braces, is this normal as the cable has worn almost an 1/8"
in the V Brace at some places?
