[TowerTalk] Soldering irons

why does it need to be old fashioned?   Look at the weller 240 watt gun
that K3LR uses to makeup  pl-259 connectors in his 5 page article???
my guess is this article is on his web site.  I made a copy of it here but
his web site will give you a good look at it.
