[TowerTalk] LINE FOR tree strung dipoles

Well, sure, that would WORK, but, what kind of rude neighbors do you
have, that would want you to go to
that bother and expense? They can't be bothered to go to Wal-Mart and
cough up a few bucks for some extension
cords?
And, it would probably just be a waste of time to explain the concept of
"off center fed" to them; better to just go
with the standard, indoor romex dipole. A lot of neighbors don't even
like unauthorized access to their attics.
Some don't even like you plowing up their lawns in order to have a
"reasonable" counterpoise for a vert.
Yeah, yeah, it's "nostalgic" when Grandma hangs her bloomers on a
clothesline to "air dry", but, the minute you
start planting posts in their yard to support home-brew ladder line,
they get all wiggy about it.
Go figure.
