If  you place the tension gauge on Phillystran, would you get the same 
reading as  EHS cable?


    Yes. They're in series so the tension would be  the same. 
 
    If you're using a Loos tension gauge, the only  one you can measure 
directly is the HPTG4000. The other ones are too large to  fit into the little 
gate on the top of the Loos because of the thick  PVC jacket.
