[TowerTalk] fall arrestor

Two different types of fall arrest are getting munged together in this
thread:

1) Typical fall arrest lanyard (usually has some type of rip out stitching
to limit the "impact") that is clipped onto some solid member of the tower;
this should be connected to the REAR D ring between the shoulders

2) Fall Arrest using a rigged rope or wire rope (most often wire rope
permanently rigged on the tower- uncommon on amateur towers, but common on
commercial towers); the fall arrest device captures the wire rope and is
connected to the FRONT D ring (chest) by a carbineer; if you were to fall,
it would only be a very short distance (measured in multiple inches instead
of feet)

Number 2 is what the original poster was asking about. Connecting this type
of device to a rear D ring is not following the LXC Directive (do as the
manufacturer says).
