Why then are examples of how to compute never included in discussions of
this type (including youres)? I have asked how several times but never an
explanation. From my old courses in physics I may be able to handle the trig
of the pulley cable angle and the offset from center location of the pulling
connection but what about:
For the offset being close to the tower base, part of the pulling force is
trying to pull the tower out of the ground--or is it, because the uneven
weight of the tower is also trying to pull the tower out of the ground? How
does one take these into account?
The force being used just to turn the pulleys, especially whem the pulling
force is at an angle?
The unever distribution of tower and antenna weight? Does one divide the
tower into a bunch of weight/offset lengths, sum them and take the average
or what?
