[TowerTalk] Digging holes for anchor rods

Cute remark about Gilligan's Island, I suppose, but not particularly
funny, Doug.

Not all of us build commercial towers, so the information we need
apply is considerably different in many cases than that which might
apply to commercial tower installation. The average (and even the very
rare) ham tower is no where close to that which is commercial, so I
would seriously doubt one will find anyone who has ever "levelled
their guy holes" to that of the tower itself. Commercial tower
installation and ham tower installation do have some similarities, but
ham towers are obviously seldom as high or as big and some things that
necessarily apply to commercial installations can be a bit ridiculous
for the average ham.

And, it is rather obvious I misread the question, thinking it was for
the tower base (as I stated) and not the guy anchors. That said, if
the guys here were to be even with the base, they would have to be
rather tall as the ground slopes rather abruptly. Up 1800 feet on a
hill, as I did say clearly.

Rudeness is never necessary.
