[TowerTalk] gorilla hooks

I'm not sure why this is becoming so difficult ....

I already stated that my gorilla hooks (three of them) are at the end of
straps (heavy duty webbed ones) that attach to my full body harness. My
straps are relatively short, but long enough to easily reach the next
cross member of the tower as I climb. I own a couple of shock absorbing
lanyards but don't use them because of their length .... by the time
they brought me to a stop I would have fallen several feet (check the
specs) and suffered lots of personal damage from the several climbing
pegs I would have bounced off on the way down. I'd rather be brought to
an abrupt stop after just a couple of feet than be gored by a climbing
peg or lose an eye to one.
