I really have to massage the grey matter some but I think the small black insulator at the base resembles the base of the Mosley RV-4 vertical I once owned. Mine did not have the trombone type stub or coil, but Mosley does offer a conversion kit to add 75/80 to their verticals and that could be why it looks different then mine did. Phil N9LAH
