The packaging inside the box was very good

Seems the problem as they said "may have resulted from handling in the
warehouse"

That´s all. Always there´s the possibility that happens this things.

The point here is how the company respond about it. Some companies finish
the contact with their customers after they got the money. 

Others like Arrow (and of course others) are very good.

And this is great, so you can choose where to buy or not!..

If the box is in good shape, the damage probably occurred due to POOR  
packaging INSIDE the box.

That is quite obvious!
