i have used the land scarping cloth pins for years. and never any 
problems. i DO put tubing over the last 6 inches of wire and then 
wrap it around the pins..you would also wrap elect tape around the 
top of the pins that you use as hold downs or just get some cheap 
land scarping cloth when you get the pins and put some of it over the 
wire where you place the hold down pins..
works for me
