Grateful thanks to all TTers who responded to my call for help with the abovementioned problem, which are not only appreciated, they are most helpful.
I am making enquiries locally as to the availability of some of the products, Mouse Milk, PB Blaster and Kano Kroil. I have WD40 and CRC 566 here and have only tried a "one shot" attempt with WD40.
