[TowerTalk] Heavy Duty Rotor

I am using an extra large one (think it weighs over a hundred pounds)
on my 40m antenna and the gear reduction is only about 5800-1. I
doubt there are any rotatable antennas that cannot be handled by any
prop pitch of any size.

Cirrently making a mount to hold a small one upside down and outboard
of tower for the 15m antenna. Planning to use an old Ham M type
rotator under the mast for the indicator and use the control box for
reading direction and activating relays to provide voltage to the prop
pitch.

Have not settled on plan to clamp a sproket around the mast. Any ideas
for something that is removable but can clamp so it will absolutely
not slip?
